The FORMagic/400 Free! Registration:
If your company has not begun the process of implementing electronic forms, the FORMagic/400 Free! Registration allows you to get started with one form without cost. Create your first application and use it forever on one AS/400 system or partition without charges of any type.
What this Free! Registration includes:
The FORMagic/400 Forms Overlay Manager for HP-compatible laser printers,
- The FORMagic/400 PDF File Creator and Forms Manager,
- The use of one form with each product (same or different form for each),
- Unlimited generation of PDF files without any forms,
- Fully-functional operation and limited tech support, but excludes optional, extra-cost product features,
- No charges, at all, for getting started and permanently using one form,
- Minimimal cost for moderate growth, just add forms as needed for only $250 each,
- Everything needed for production forms applications, from the simplest to the most complex, including different forms on different pages, and
- A 10% discount on any purchases within 12 months of Free! activation.
The Details:
- You must complete all information in the online registration form. You do not have to provide registration information until you have downloaded and evaluated the product and ask to receive keys for permanent Free! activation.
- Registration must be requested before the evaluation period expires (approximately 60 days after installation).
- We will provide permanent Free! activation keys by email, generally within 3 business days, after receiving your request.
- Technical support is provided until registration occurs or the evaluation period expires. During evaluation, you will actually have a three-form limit (not one-form).
- Higher form limits (above one) can be purchased for $250 per form. The increased limit applies to both products.
- Free, one-form registrations are limited to one system or one partition per company (including subsidiaries). This limitation applies to end-users. Resellers, consultants, ISVs, OEMs, and other channel organizations can obtain one free registration for each end-user customer.
The FORMagic/400 Free! Registration with Paid Support:
Need just a few more forms to get started, full tech support, free upgrades, free transfers to new systems (everything in a traditional Annual Support Plan), or use multiple systems or partitions? Choose the Free! Registration with Paid Support. Pay for support only, just $350/yr for each system or partition installation you need, regardless of AS/400 model.
What this Free! Registration includes:
- Everything included in the FORMagic/400 Free! Registration with these enhancements,
- The use of three forms with each product (same or different forms for each),
- Unlimited generation of PDF files without any forms,
- Full tech support, free upgrades, free transfers when you replace a system but it excludes optional, extra-cost product features, and
- A 10% discount on any purchases within 12 months of Free! activation, with full credit for purchases of increased form limits and unused (pro-rated) support. Thereafter, the purchase discount is not applicable; but the credit is provided at 50% during the next 12 months.
The Details:
- You must complete all information in the online registration form. You do not have to provide registration information until you have downloaded and evaluated the product and ask to receive Free! activation keys.
- We will provide Free! activation keys annually by email, generally within 3 business days, upon receipt of payment for annual support. Free! activation keys include an extra three months, to insure adequate time is available for processing renewal invoices for the following year.

- Higher form limits (above three) can be purchased for $250 per form. The increased limit applies to both products. If a total of eight additional forms is purchased within three years of the initial Free! activation, keys for use with unlimited forms will be provided for Processor Group P05 systems. For systems in higher Processor Groups, one additional form must be purchased for each higher Group to receive the unlimited key.
- Each organization can obtain multiple Free! Registrations with Paid Support, for as many systems and partitions as needed.
- Invoices will be emailed to the end-user requesting the Free! Registration, as a PDF file created with FORMagic/400 PDF. If you have special billing requirements, please call Keowee Systems at 864-885-0094 prior to or soon after submitting your Free! registration information.
The FORMagic/400 Suite Free! Registration with Paid Support:
Need a special font, like bar codes, MICR, OCR, and postal codes (Postnet, Planet, 4-state)? Choose the Suite Free! Registration with Paid Support. Pay for support only, just $500/yr for each system or partition installation you need, regardless of AS/400 model.
What this Free! Registration includes:

- The FontMagic/400 Font Manager and your choice of any one of our more than 60 special-purpose fonts, and
- A 10% discount on any purchases within 12 months of Free! activation, with full credit for purchases of increased form limits and unused (pro-rated) support. Thereafter, the purchase discount is not applicable; but the credit is provided at 50% during the next 12 months.

Free! registrations are available only for the products listed above. Other products and optional features are not available through Free! Registrations.
We reserve the right to modify or withdraw Free! Registration offerings, at any time without notice.
There are no "nag" messages or ads embedded in our products. During evaluation, we provide a reminder message to QSYSOPR at each use. We also provide a reminder when the development menus are started. Our evaluation version is fully-functional and is often used to implement production applications which should not be disrupted. The notices are sent simply to keep you informed of the upcoming expiration. If desired, you can suppress the QSYSOPR messages using instructions provided in the User's Guide. These messages are automatically disabled for permanent activations.
We will not provide your registration information to anyone else, except as required by law.
We do not use your email address to send spam. You may receive product related announcements several times per year.
Free! Registrations are open to almost everyone. We are very sorry, but none of the Free! Registrations
can be provided to companies which are highly regulated and require that suppliers register with one or more
governmental entities. Such registrations generally impose significant costs on suppliers. Examples include
casinos and gaming-related organizations.
